Chopsticks in Hell

chopstick1

There is a Chinese Proverb story that tells of a man who visits hell:

He arrives to a large, lavish room, with scores of guests.  Each guest is seated around an endless, grand, exquisitely carved, banquet table.  A mountainous feast lay before them, with the most luscious selection of food he had ever beheld.

“Could I be in the right place?” He wondered.

Then he observed, that all of the guests held a pair of 12-foot chopsticks.

And, all of the guests were starving.

Next he visits Heaven.

He beheld the same room, the same table, and the same, bounteous feast. The guests also held 12-foot chopsticks… Yet, they were happily feasting!

For they were feeding eachother.
